SUBJECT: POSITION VACANCY–Development Outreach and Communication Specialist,
FSN-11

The Agency for International Development in Haiti is recruiting a
Development Outreach and Communication Specialist at the FSN-11 level
for the Program Office (PCPS). Job description is available at
USAID/Personnel Office and the deadline for receiving applications is
April 6, 2007

Required Qualifications:

Education:             A Bachelor's degree in journalism,
communications,
                 international relations, marketing or related field
is required. Completion of one or more years of post-graduate
                 study is highly desirable.

Experience:       Five years to seven years of progressively
responsible senior, professional level experience in mass
communications, media relations, and press issues required.

Language:         Level IV (fluent) English, French and Creole required.

Knowledge:        Thorough knowledge and familiarity with Haitian
culture, politics, a strong knowledge of public attitudes and
techniques. Must have expert knowledge in the field of public affairs.
Good knowledge of the Government of Haiti's policies and programs.

Skills:           Excellent computer skills including photography and
digital manipulation.
