Free Performance at Wesleyan World Percussion Festival 2000
A free outdoor festival from 12:30 to 8:30 pm ends with Boukman Eksperyans

Bring your family and a blanket and enjoy percussion from the America,
including Manny Oquendo (Cuban drummer), Boogsie Sharpe (steel pan from
Trinidad) and Boukman Eksperyans (Vodou rock band from Haiti).  Children's
drumming workshops.  food court available featuring Haitian food.  Boukman
plays at 6:30 pm.

For directions to Wesleyan University, in Middletown, CT, from
By Car from New York (about 2 hours drive):
       Interstate 95 North to 91 North, exit 18 to Route 691/66 East - or -
the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15 North), exit 68
       to Route 691/66 east. Route 66 becomes Washington Street in
Middletown. Follow the signs to Wesleyan.
