7240: Lauture and feminist refreshment (fwd)

From: jlvoss@uhlaw.com

I can understand an anonymous post in the interest of escaping retaliation
for criticizing a current figure of power in Haiti, but using feminism to
find refreshment in corruption does not warrant anonymity, nor is it a
credit to feminism.

If the reasoning of the anonymous poster is taken as valid, then the
corruption problem is not really a problem at all--but a welcome sign of
advancement of women and minorities. But at what cost? Just take a look at
where the epidemic has gotten Haiti thus far.

If those seeking economic justice in Haiti and worldwide don't include
anti-corruption in their arsenal, they might as well stay at home.
