I have just tried to book a ticket for someone from Port-au-Prince to New
York and was told by American Airlines that ALL their flights to the U.S.
are booked until Sept. 4! You can't even get a flight to Miami unless you're
willing to go on a Panamanian airline to Panama City and then to Miami. Is
there some kind of evacuation under way?
