CorbettHaiti Volunteers

This site and mailing list are entirely run by volunteers. Almost 2,000 people with an interest in Haiti participate in one way or another. Whether active participants on the CorbettList Mailing list, in the Forums, or in spreading the word, We appreciate your contributions.

We are working to migrate the Corbett site to a WIKI format which will make maintenance and updates easier. Volunteers are needed to help in this process. Over 600 pages are found in the archive.

The work consists primarily of copying and pasting of the archived web pages into the WIKI pages. Contact volunteers at corbetthaiti.org if you can help.

Periodically we need help in particular areas. This page will be updated with the current needs and contact persons responsible for that area.

• Mailing List Moderators - Periodically check the incoming messages and forward them to the list. Contact ADMIN at corbetthaiti.org.
• Site page translators - We would like to provide as much of this site as possible in all three common languages in Haiti; French, Creole, and English and perhaps in Spanish and Portuguese. If you can help translate these pages, Contact ADMIN at corbetthaiti.org.
• Website Updates - We need to migrate the Corbett Web Site from its current archive to CorbettList.org. This new site is maintained in a WIKI format similar to Wikipedia so it's easy to update and maintain with no knowledge of programming required. Approximately 600 pages need to be migrated. The task is primarily a copy and paste from the archive site. Contact ADMIN at corbetthaiti.org.

We're not big in begging for money, but there are some costs associated with building and maintaining this site and mailing list. If you have a business and would like to advertise in this site, contact ADMIN at corbetthaiti.org.

Contributions to the support of this site are always welcome and appreciated. All work is done by volunteers. There are no paid staff. Your contribution will go directly to building and maintaining this site.
