Support systems for art and other essential GOOD
(from LeGrace Benson)
In several places around the world, with especial success in Germany.
Austria, Japan and New Zealand, local groups /communities constituted in
various ways have been able to set up systems that keep the goods, services
and benefits circulating around the comunity in substantial ways, and also
have articulations with the external economy --including the "global
economy" that seem to be working with various degrees of success. Skill,
high committment to the community and a LOT of energy are key features in
the successful systems. The articulation with larger regional, national and
global economies can be in several styles and methods.
