I just heard the emergency management director in Haiti, Mrs. Surena, say
that there were 4 confirmed dead, one person missing, and 251 families
affected by the rain storm of Wednesday April 24.  Victims were mostly from
Kafou and Pelerin.  Radio Metropole says that schools in the Kafou area did
not function on Thursday.  Fortunately the rain from Thursday evening did not
last long enough to cause further major damage.
