In fiscal year 2002, according to their own numbers, USAID alone
spent US $ 3.25 million on "opposition" building and these are only
the numbers they admit to and only USAID spending. USAID calls this
money for "democracy", for example direct support to political groups
favored by the U.S.. Given the fact that this intervention in Haitian
internal matters didn't start nor end in 2002, it's safe to say that
the total amount is staggering. If you disbelieve the figure given by
Kim Ives, why don't you share your own numbers?
