19665: Du Tuyau: Just relax (fwd)

From: ViandeMoulue@aol.com

To everybody and all my friends more specially,

Just relax. Titid is gone. Marassa is happy. Life goes on. No problem. Just another day.

Maybe today, after all the plane concussions, Titid is recovering. Perhaps he finally remembers that he wanted to go. Why else would he have sent his children first?

Anyway, no minister today to report to him the latest from the North, saying things like "Titid, bagay-la di -things are hard-". No "aba Titid-down with the devil" on the streets of Pstoprens, or "Viv Titid pou senk an for 5 years". Just typical Haiti for you.

In "This Week With David Brinkley" (oh sorry been gone that nice guy), on the news this week, Titid is/was/still is on CNN. Wow!! I am waiting for the Barbara Walters interview but she had just retired.

I just can't wait to see a proud Titid, with his beautiful wife and nicely groomed children, in a nice park (he built 58 in Haiti-must have loved them) of La Ripublique Centreafricaine with zebra on his side. He will most likely become an environmentalist. (All right guys, y'all can laugh). "Don't get mad-get Glad" (Remember that commercial?)

I am sorry folks. I liked him and still do despite his shortcomings. Next year, I can't wait to see whether our elite will be as ingenuous as they have been to overthrow El Caid. Who will make Titid dolls? I'll buy some for a few dollars. Maybe Titid himself will start up a company, since by the end, they all said he had the "Narcisse problem" (fell in the water trying to recapture his own flowing and fluctuating image). He'd make millions making fun of himself. He should consider this as an alternative. Or maybe he'll start up his own Haitian Human Rights organization. Who knows?

It's funny how simple writers like Albert Camus can be so to-the-point. I can never forget his words in that book Frenchie-French, Le Mythe of ...something (can't recall); he wrote that an excellent reason to live may also be an excellent reason to die. So let's take it from there, and think of that sentence the following funky Du-Tuyau-esque way:

By the end, Titid had the opportunity to demake (creole for you), go, say good bye. Well, I wish him well.

Who is next in line to be the next victim? If history ` la Haitiana is still the same, maybe in a few years, 10, 15, 20 years, unless we realize that we need some deep (oh I like that word, "deep") fundamental changes in our system, Titid will come back as a hero. Baby Doc had already signaled that he wants to come back, and probably will, so he could present probably his candidacy as a Senator. Oh Boy, oh girl, Senator Baby Doc!!! Haiti, the country where all dreams can and do come true, even better than in America the United-States-Great-States. Who would have thought that Chamblain would have so much good press lately? Corporate media is in love for now. The fickle-ness of being fickle-ingly amnesiac. Oh well, ... A

After all, only the fools take themselves seriously. You must be who you are, not what someone else or others say you are. I am now moun fou because I have just begun to thinking little bit.

In irony historically historical, the day when Titid was living was the Independence anniversary of the DR, if I recall correctly. They (the DR) became independent from Haiti on 2/29/1844. How ironic!

The next day, (3-1-2004) Haiti was again under the Frenchie influence on Haiti 200th anniversary of independence. Just luv it. Love it- love it- love it.

So to all of you, my friends and hateful friends, please bear in mind that modesty, moderation is what made Buddha. I am becoming a buddhist myself. Oh no, closer to the time, a John Edwards I am (objects in mirror are closer than they appear). So be keurefoul-careful.

We're now all gloating, drinking the cup of victory. May it not be bitter. So think with the mind, for once, so I can go visit my friends in Haiti this year.

Life's a beach. I want to enjoy the sun after all, so I can get just a tiny bit darker. They didn't call me "charbon moderne (modern coal)" after all in High School in Haiti, for no reason.

Love y'all.
