Well whatever China thinks about Haiti, they think enough to be
represented here diplomatically. They have a Consul here. Unusual that
Haiti is probably one of the few countries to have diplomats from both
Taiwan and the People's Republic of China.  Taiwan has been very good to
Haiti, as has Japan, so it has definitely been worth Haiti's while to
send Ambassadors or Consuls to these countries.
