Welcome to this week's events announcement:.
HAITIAN DAY PARADE:
Close out the month long celebration of the flag at the Haitian
day parade this Sunday May 29 at 11:00AM on Nostrand Ave & Linden
Blv. in Brooklyn. Come view the many beautiful floats and enjoy
the performances by many artists including live konpa bands, Djs,
Fashion, Dance Companies (Annakowona & Mikerline), Haitian Hip
Hop artists (Rate R, Shepherdz, Bendino etc..) and many other
surprise guests that be in the parade. So come early for this
great celebration.
MEMORIAL WEEK END:
This Memorial Holiday week end is also full of night time events.
RockMasters recommends the following events: Starting Friday with
Carimi/Zin at Sobs and Kino/Tantan at Brasserie Creole. Then on
Saturday, we have Nu-Look and Kreyol La (Ex Konpa Kreyol) at Club
Amazura. Finally on Sunday after the parade, the rendez-vous is
again at club Amazura for Carimi and Sweet Micky. Get all the
details on the calendar below.
NEW WEEKLY EVENTS:
Brasserie Creole announces that Sweet Micky will be at Brasserie
every Sunday starting Sunday June 5. And to all the Zin fans, Zin
will bring the summer time Thursday fever to Brasserie every Thu.
starting June 16. So mark your calendar for these new weekly
events.
