Although I've been warned not to have anything of value visible when I go to 
the Iron Market in Port-au-Prince, I have not been in a situation such as 
Jacqui described in Jacmel.  Here in New York we find shoulders and elbows -- 
and to a lesser degree knees, heels and toes -- to be useful weapons. 
Hopefully I'll never have to use that attitude when in Haiti.
