DO YOU WANT TO JOIN BOB CORBETT'S MAILING LIST ON HAITI?

Below is information about joining my e-mail list concerning Haiti. Both are free with no charges of any sort whatsoever.

What Is It and Why Is It?

From 1982 to 1989 I published a 16 page quarterly magazine on Haiti called THE HAITI PROJECT NEWSLETTER. It was mainly a tool to inform donors of the work of PEOPLE TO PEOPLE, INC. in Haiti. This is a non-profit organization which I co-founded in 1982. Little by little I began to publish book and film reviews, political analyses and general articles about Haiti. In 1990 I expanded the magazine to 40 pages and renamed it STRETCH. I published STRETCH until late 1993, now have moved it all to the internet. Thus I run this mailing list. I send out a steady stream of articles on history, culture, religion, current events, political analyses, generate and carry on discussions, and then do some information about PEOPLE TO PEOPLE work in Haiti and even, on very rare occasions, do a little begging. It is different from other mailing lists in that it does, to some extent, serve the purposes of PEOPLE TO PEOPLE, INC. At least I hope it does. It is also a moderated list which aims at civil and respectful communication and interchanged, overseen by an at time heavy handed moderator (me!).

This is by far the most active place on the net for things on Haiti.

So, if you are interested please just send me an e-mail to
