Hi Kevin

I have been busy and not been on top of press releases.
Please list the lies that Mike Norton have been spreading so that we can be
enlightened.

Haiti Crowds Call For President's Ouster
Mon Nov 25, 8:53 PM ET

By MICHAEL NORTON, Associated Press Writer

"In the capital, more than 2,000 Aristide supporters marched
through the streets. Some demonstrated outside the National Palace and, on
the way, stoned an African studies center where anti-government students
were meeting. "

Firstly, as anyone can see for themselves, the peaceful demonstration in
front of the palace was in numbers FAR greater than 2,000. The number of
people actually present versus the numbers reported by Norton are at great
odds. "Some demonstrated outside the National Palace..." is a gross
understimate if you view the photos Corbett has put up on his web page. Also
note that not one photo of the peaceful march, on November 25, appeared in
AP reports while dozens of photos have been filed of anti-Aristide
demonstrations. The photos that appeared on AP's Yahoo page, with the
article quoted above, were only of anti-Aristide demonstrations. Also note
that in addition to under reporting the true numbers of the pro-Lavalas
march, the title of the piece itself, "Haiti Crowds Call For President's
Ouster" further buries the fact of the major outpouring of support for
Lavalas on the day in question. If you had read this over breakfast in
Peoria what impression would you have been left with? That Aristide had any
support left in the country whatsoever? Is that the truth?

Secondly, there was about fifteen students behind a locked gate at the
African studies center. There was also a Radio Metropole reporter clearly
visible among the students and egging them on. It was these few students who
began taunting the marchers as they passed by and it was they who began
throwing stones at the crowd outside. Not the other way around as reported
by Mike Norton.
